BLANK MAGAZINE

Blank presents ideas on visual culture, bridging the gap between artists and intellectuals, presenting essays, reviews, columns, and visuals that ask questions, and provoke thought. The magazine also explores the interconnectivity of the arts and how different disciplines interact in the postmodern era. The concept of Blank began as an arts and culture magazine originated from the idea of a “blank canvas” or “blank page”, a starting point for all visual artists, writers and designers. It will create a
forum in which visual culture can be logically presented, discussed, and challenged. The magazine will map visual trends and analyze their origin and motivations. As a blank space in which concepts are contributed, Blank will serve as a meeting point in which ideas are assembled, which will then serve as the impetus for further exploration. This issue of Blank focuses on mental blocks, and these spreads feature an article about writer’s block.
