PORTFOLIO BOOK 2011

As a recent graduate, a portfolio book was needed to showcase my best projects to potential employers. To bring human qualities to the book and to show my love of craft, I incorporated several elements of “imperfection” in creating the book. Each page was hand torn to give it a handmade effect. The book was also hand bound using the chain stitching method to expose the spine. These methods made the book unique for reviewers who are accustomed to seeing sharp edges and professionally bound books.

I’d like to thank my mother, for her support through all my years of education. This book wouldn’t have been possible without her. I could not be the person I am, and the designer that I am today, if not for her constant guidance. I love you mommy! : )
